Thinking About the Future
Kids get asked all the time: "What are you going to be when you get older?" But, that's not a very helpful question. A better question would be: "What kinds of jobs or careers sound interesting?" Even better, "What kind of person do you want to be?"
What our kids do for work ought to be an expression of who they are- what's important to them, what they're good at, and what they're most interested in. If we can help them reflect on those aspects of life, they'll be much better prepared to pick a job, become self-sufficient, and start building a meaningful life.
We have a simple, interactive mini-course you can share with your kids, no matter how old they are. Oh, and, it's free.
