Critical Life Skills - Social Media March 20th 7-8 pm

Social media sucks, right?

The most recent data about the harms of social media usage for teenagers is...worse than you think.

But it isn't going away, no matter how long or how much we shield our kids from it. The fact is, they need to learn to engage in social media from a healthy place.

It's hard to have these conversations with your own kids. That's why we want to create a space to help them think for themselves and be guided to engage technology more thoughtfully. Whether they already have social media or you're still waiting, we want to guide them to think about how to handle it responsibly.

Within one hour we will:

  • feed your kid
  • teach them the most relevant data for how social media is impacting the teen brain and social development
  • engage them in thoughtful discussion
  • guide them through gratitude exercises
  • and give them tools to think through how they can engage social media from a healthier place.

The event will be held indoors in Rancho Bernardo. Mask wearing encouraged!
